As Orleans County turns into a Winter Wonderland, hop aboard a snowmobile and take the Covered Bridge Challenge along the connected trails of New York State. Orleans County has over a hundred miles of groomed snowmobile trails and features its own “covered bridge” — the Erie Canal Culvert Tunnel — the only place where you can drive under the Erie Canal.

Beat the winter blues at the Lee-Whedon Library in Medina as they host their annual Finally Fridays concert series beginning January 6th thru March 3rd.  Check out their schedule at www.leewhedon.org.

Cozy up in the comfort of one of our unique B&Bs or inns. The Hart House Hotel offers distinctive boutique accommodations named for the celebrity clients (like Bob Hope and Winston Churchill) who bought custom-made shirts from the factory that was located in the building for much of the 20th century.  The Historic Village B&B has restored bedroom suites with the charm of yesteryear- high ceilings, antique furniture, period lighting, and claw foot tubs. Luxury and elegance await you at The Pillars Estate B&B, which is featured on New York State’s Haunted History Trail. Appointed in Queen Anne décor, the Victorian mansion is perfect for a romantic getaway, features a private home theater and perhaps some “unexpected” guests.
